Image result for Power outage: 38 Communities give 7-day ultimatum to IBEDCTwenty eight communities in Osogbo, Osun state have given the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC, a seven-day ultimatum to restore power to their areas.

Residents of the affected communities gave the ultimatum when they staged a peaceful protest in Osogbo, Osun State Capital.

Leader of the protesters, Moshood Oladejo said Businesses are affected while men of the underworld are using the opportunity to perpetrate their evil acts at night.

Addressing the protesters on behalf of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Tajudeen Adigun appealed to the State Government and Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola to take necessary action

Spokesperson for the IBEDC in Osogbo, Kikelomo Owoeye attributed the development to overload.
