The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Bashir Makama has launched ‘Operation Puff Adder’ which is in line with the agenda of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu towards ensuring adequate security across the country.
Speaking to his men about what is expected of them, the Commissioner of Police said the police will not tolerate any form of crimes in the state
TVC News Kazeem Olowe reports that the Police also paraded more than 90 suspects arrested for different levels of crimes.
In order to reduce the level of crime in Ogun State and to encourage investors that the state remains safe for them to operate, the Commissioner
of Police, Bashir Makama has laughed “Operation Puff Adder”.
He noted that the operation is expected to send a clear signal to those planning to engage in crimes and criminality to desist from it. He maintained that work has commenced and they have made some arrest.
The Police boss identified Cultism, Ritual killings and kidnapping as some of the major problems confronting residents. Some of the suspects confessed and pleaded for leniency.
The Commissioner of Police however, warned his men to always carry out their duties in a professional way, nothing that the command will not
condone any act of indiscipline.
