The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Hilda-Ibifuro Harrison said about twenty-five thousand police officers will be on election duties in the eighteen local councils of the state.
She also warned politicians planning to unleash mayhem in the state, to have a rethink or face the full wrath of the law.

Addressing journalists on Tuesday, Harrison expressed the force’s readiness to ensure free and fair election in the sunshine state. She however cautions officers and men that will take part in the election to conduct themselves professionally and devoid of acts capable of tarnishing the name of the force.
