Peace Corps bill fails again as Reps refuse to veto Buhari

The second reading for the Veto override of a Bill for an Act to establish the Nigerian Peace Corp has suffered a setback in the house of representatives.

Majority of the lawmakers who opposed the bill says it’s a duplication of security agencies, and that what the country needs presently is to strengthen existing ones.

They said the aspect of finance is a key factor in enhancing the capacity of policing in Nigeria.
