TVC previously reported that the Federal High Court in Abuja has restrained the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from proceeding with its planned National Convention pending the determination of a substantive suit filed by former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido.

In its ruling, the court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to refrain from taking part in any activity connected to the convention, whether scheduled to hold in Ibadan or any other location across the country.
