Operation burst isnt such a bad idea by the oyo state government, but the government are too found of doing things half way. Operation burst would have been one of the best things done by the oyo state government, but for now it just a way to purnish innocent youths who are going about their day to day activities trying to find happieness out of the sad state of unemployment in the country. More innocent citizens are being arrested for doing basic things or living basic lifestyles, things that are’nt even crime, and then forces to pay outrageous amounts for bail. It is wrong. Operation burst picks up citizen who are walking by the road side and maltreat them meanwhile there are some in cars, and what happens to those ones. Yesterday some of my friends wanted to come over to my place to visit me, so they were by the road side when operation burst stopped them then asked them questions like, where are you going , they said they were going to a friends place and the told them that they do not really know the place and the operation burst officers told them to get in the car , my friends thought they were helping them until they landed at the police station and were fined N2000 for getting lost . The government should please look into this . In the case of my friends nothing could be done no evidence that they were arrested. No records. They should have records of every thing done including people who were beaten
