Osun state government  has threatened to revoke contract with any contractor who fails to deliver as promised following the slow pace of work on the 13km Oba Adesoji Aderemi Circular road in Osogbo, the capital.

Oba Adesoji Aderemi Circular road is one of the projects kick-started by the last administration and determined to be completed by the Gboyega administration but the expectation is that a section of the road would have been tarred by now according to the agreement signed with the contractor.

Inspecting the road Project, the State Commissioner for works said government will not take it lightly with any contractor handling it’s project who fails to deliver as scheduled.

Though, they are satisfied with the quality of work done, but want the contractor to speed up the road construction before 2020 raining season
begins.

Due to the slow pace of work, workers are not going on festive season break to ensure the Project is delivered before March next year.
