The Ondo State Government has distributed Agrochemicals to some selected farmers groups in the State.
Some of the farmers groups that benefited from the free agrochemicals included Young Farmers Group, Agbeladun and All sunshine youth agricultural empowerment association.
While distributing the chemical, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture and Agribusiness, Wemimo Akinsola said that the present administration under the leadership of Lucky Aiyedatiwa would continue to support farmers and make the agricultural sector more attractive and profitable.
He explained that arrangements have been concluded by the government to make more land available and accessible to the farmers across the state.
He noted that the recently signed Executive Orders by Mr Governor would further help the Agency to make more land available for mechanized systems of farming.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked the state government for its kind gesture.
