Enyimba halted their five-game winless run with a hard-fought 2-nil win over FC IfeanyiUbah in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League tie today.
Goals from Joseph Osadiaye and Mfon Udoh secured the much needed win for the Peoples Elephant who have been in poor form lately.
Osadiaye opened the scoring in the 32nd minute.
Udoh made it 2-0 with two minutes left and secured the points for the home team.
The win takes Enyimba’s to 8th on the log with 18 points.
In another rescheduled game on Wednesday, MFM FC secured back-to-back away draws following their 1-1 outcome against Wikki Tourist.
MFM were without exciting duo Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun.
The Olukoya boys maintain third position on the log on 21 points, with a game in hand.
