The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital territory will be shut from midnight on Wednesday and would remain closed for 6 weeks to enable repairs.

Information minister, Lai Mohammed, disclosed this at a news conference where the Police Inspector-General and the minister of state for aviation disclosed plans for effective diversion of flights to Kaduna Airport.
