The Nigerian army now has an additional 72 medical doctors, eight of which are consultants, 26 lawyers and other professionals to boost military operations in the country.
Similarly, the nation has bought more ammunition to maintain the peace in the country.
Defence minister, Mansur Dan-Ali made the disclosure in Jaji, Kaduna state, where he represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the passing out of officer cadets at the army school of infantry.
Tesem Akende reports that the Officer cadets are two hundred. They were at the parade ground early enough, and waiting patiently for the arrival of the military top brass.
The Chief of Army staff, and guest of honour in accordance with military tradition all proceeded to the saluting dais for national salute.

The passing out parade, commissioning and oath taking marked the end of a six-month intensive training for these ones.
They would henceforth be addressed as officers and not cadets.
