The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has expressed confidence the Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme will be fit for November the 12th world cup qualifier against Algeria.
Ikeme last week got injured while playing for his club, Wolverhampton in a league game.
But NFF’s technical committee chairman, Chris Green says Ikeme has confirmed he is coming for the match as his injury is as serious as it first appeared.
Green says the two other goalkeepers called up by Gernot Rohr for the match, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Portugal based Dele Alampasu are equally good and capable of stepping into Ikeme’s shoes if the need arises.
