Mozambique is preparing for a cholera outbreak it said is inevitable amid the devastation left by Cyclone Idai.
Chlorinated concentrate is being distributed in the central districts of the city of Beira. It will act as a temporary solution to prevent waterborne diseases among the local population.
Idai lashed Beira with winds of up to one hundred and seventy km per hour, then tore inland through Zimbabwe and Malawi.
At least six hundred and eighty six people were killed across the three countries and the death toll could rise.
