The Minna International Airport is ready for the reception of President Bola Tinubu who is expected to flag off the mechanised agricultural project by the Niger state government.
A section of the airport which has now be renamed as the Bola Tinubu international airport is designated as an Agro-Processing Free Zone where cargo will be processed for Off Takers.
300 tractors and Irrigation systems will be commissioned in preparation for the dry season farming across various local government councils in the state.
The Niger State governor Umaru Bago had earlier disclosed that 1 million hectares of land will be cleared in 4 years across the state for the planned agricultural revolution.
The goal is to develop the Agric Value chain in the state and create employment.
