Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, has paid tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as a visionary and courageous leader committed to Nigeria’s progress.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Uche Anichukwu, the governor said Tinubu’s life journey reflects enduring dedication to national development, noting that his leadership continues to embody resilience, inclusivity, and a bold commitment to reform.

Mbah recalled that the President had consistently risen to the occasion during critical moments in the nation’s history, including his role in the struggle to restore democratic governance and his recent economic decisions aimed at stabilising and repositioning the country.

He said the impact of the administration’s policies was already evident, citing easing macroeconomic pressures, improved foreign reserves, and the unification of exchange rates as signs of progress.

According to him, the reforms being undertaken, though difficult, are necessary steps towards building a more resilient and competitive economy, stressing that history often vindicates leaders who confront structural challenges with courage and resolve.

The governor added that Tinubu’s leadership at this critical juncture underscores his suitability for the moment, describing him as “a man for all seasons.”

Mbah said the President’s birthday also presents an opportunity for reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices involved in steering the country through a challenging phase.

He called on Nigerians to continue supporting the administration, emphasising that nation-building requires collective effort, shared sacrifice, and sustained commitment from citizens.

He further prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health for the President, expressing hope that Nigerians would rally behind his vision for a stronger and more prosperous nation.
