Manufacturers operating in the country say they are displeased with retention of the monetary policy rate at fourteen percent.
They say this move will further discourage prospective manufacturers in the country.
Arrow heads of the manufacturers association of Nigeria made this position known at an event organised to meet with business journalists to set an agenda for the year 2017.
He added that the central bank of Nigeria needs to help manufacturers access foreign exchange, this challenge he stressed is impacting negatively on the growth of the sector
