Lagos state government said it is not unmindful of environmental pollution, which in recent times has become a major source of concern the world over.
The Lagos Environmental Protection Agency said it will begin a monitoring exercise in the state targeted at ensuring that only eco-friendly refrigerants are used by technicians in the state.
The General Manager of the agency said at a forum in Lagos which brought together experts in the E-Waste management sector.
In a related development, a non- governmental Organisation in Lagos has called on the new Administration in the state to come up with better Environment friendly policies that would address the challenges of Noise and Air pollution facing the state.
They are convinced that if this is done, the environment will be healthier and safer.
