The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has given a new date for the completion of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway project. It is now scheduled for mid-September.

This is coming after a series of delays along the corridor, with construction work ongoing on the last stretch of both sides of the expressway.
The minister said this on Tuesday during a visit to the sites of completed and ongoing federal government projects in Lagos State.
