The Tiv groups had gathered as a group in Lokoja to support this mandate.

The Tiv in Kogi state appear to have chosen Leke Abejide
This is confirmed by his special adviser on inter ethnic groups in Kogi, Amulu Terver, who insists says the entire Tiv community are pledging support to MeAbejide due to his past antecedents and zeal to help the downtrodden, and indigents across state.
The deputy governorship candidate Idris Omede represents his principal at this event and welcomes the tiv community, prromising they won’t be forgotten if they are elected into the lugard house.
The Tiv community leader commends the philanthropy and commitment of Leke Abejide, acknowledging that the Tiv community have been beneficiaries of his employment programs in the past.
