Image result for Absence of Judge stalls ruling on Ken Saro-Wiwa's death sentenceJudgment in a suit seeking to overturn the court ruling approving death by hanging of renowned Niger Delta environmental activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa was stalled on Tuesday due to the absence of the trial judge.

On December the 10th, 2013, a socio cultural organization, Ken Saro-Wiwa Associates approached the federal high court sitting in Port Harcourt to challenge the legality of the tribunal which passed the death sentence leading to the hanging of Ken on November the 10th 1995.

Ruling in the suit has suffered several delays since March 2016 for one reason or the other.

The complainants are convinced that the late Ken who was also a prolific writer was unjustly executed and are optimistic of a favorable judgement to redress what they consider a miscarriage of justice.
