Former Super eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo has challenged the Nigerian football Federation to invest in Women’s football.
The Former Arsenal and Portmouth decried the state of development in the Women’s league over the years.

with the 2019 FIFA Women’s World cup holding between the 7th of June to July in France , Kanu called on the private sector to support the growth of female football in the country
He however challenged the NFF to pay more attention to the Women’s League admitting that is when other Female National Teams from the Flamingoes to the Super Falcons will give the country better represntation at International competitions
