The Lagos state police command has laid to rest controversies surrounding a viral video where a seven year old boy was allegedly killed for stealing garri.
Addressing newsmen in Lagos during a parade of suspects, the State commissioner of police Fatai Owoseni added that during investigation the command discovered that a suspected armed robber in his twenties was murdered after being caught trying to steal a phone with his gang in Orile area.
He appealed to residents not to take laws into their hands and to always contact the police instead of applying jungle justice.
