JOHESU strike: Union issues 15 day notice to Minister of Labour

The Joint health Sector Unions (JOHESU)has issued a 15 day strike notice to the Minister of Labour and Employment.

The Joint health Sector Unions (JOHESU) had suspended its industrial action on 30th May, 2018.

This is after the union had waited for a long period to have issues such as Upward adjustment of Salary structure, Unjustified withholding of the salaries of JOHESU members from April and May, 2018, headship of hospital departments, non Promotion of members on CONHESS 14 to 15 as Directors in some Federal Health Institutions and implementation of Consultancy Cadre to members were not resolved.

The Joint Health Sector Unions has notified the Federal Government of her resolve to resume the suspended industrial action by Thursday, 31st of January, if the issues in dispute are not resolved.
