Technology experts have called on governments at levels in Nigeria to use information and communications technology to solve the many challenges in the country.
They made the call during an ICT programme for students of higher Institutions at the Osun State University in Osogbo.
Our Correspondent Rafiu Hammed reports that it’s the opening of a 5 day ICT programme targeted at students of the six higher Institutions in the state. The theme of the programme is “Awakening Entrepreneurship in Youth through ICT training.
Organisers said the essence is to solve the problem of unemployment especially among youths who constitute the larger population of the country.
The guest speaker, Babatunde Olatunji who described unemployment as a global problem wants the participants to be creative in their chosen carriers.
To him, developing human resources will help in achieving sustainable development goals.
