Former head of state, Yakubu Gowon, has called on Nigerians, irrespective of their faiths to commit to more prayers for the nation.
He said the days are evil, and that the spiritual controls the physical.
General Gowon gave the charge in Kaduna, when he visited officials of the state government to introduce his Nigeria Prays Project, which he said started in 1996.
The Kaduna government was happy to receive him and pledged renewed commitment to peace.
