Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has presented the draft budget for 2024, amounting to 458 billion Naira, to the State House of Assembly.
The budget proposal, titled “Budget of Rural Transformation for Inclusive Development,” delineates a capital expenditure of approximately 318 billion Naira and recurrent expenditure of 139 billion Naira, maintaining a 60:40 ratio of capital to recurrent spending.
Within this proposed budget, education constitutes 25.19%, while healthcare receives 15.63%, summing up to approximately 40.82% of the total draft budget.
Governor Uba Sani reaffirmed his commitment to rejuvenating rural economies and fostering human capital development.

He emphasized the budget’s focus on agriculture, regional and rural economic development, security, infrastructure, and human capital enhancement.
