Niniola has announced the death of her husband of 13 years, Michael Ndika.
On her Instagram stories in the early hours of Wednesday, Niniola said, “God took him…My husband died.”
According to reports, Ndika, who is her manager, is also the Chief Executive Officer of Naija Review, a multimedia platform that promotes Afro-house and contemporary African music.
Details surrounding the cause of his death were not immediately made public.
The 39-year-old singer rose to fame after emerging as one of the top contestants on Project Fame West Africa in 2013.
