Ahead of the yuletide celebrations, the Federal Road Maintenance Agency says it has commenced rehabilitation and maintenance of Trunk A roads to ease movement of passengers and goods across the country.
Speaking at this year-end program, named “Flag-Off Operations: Connect to Your Destination,” in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state, managing director of FERMA, Chukwuemeka Agbasi, said the agency is committed to providing well-maintained roads for users during the festive season as they travel across the country.
Mr Agbasi is now calling on road users to adhere to traffic rules and drive cautiously as the year ends.
The Outpost Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Goshen Gidado, commended FERMA for consistently providing effective service to humanity in the regions.
