The Federal Government wants parents and guardians to monitor the activities of their children,

to prevent them from being recruited by the so-Called Islamic State terror group.

A statement issued  by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, cited the recent recruitment of 27 medical students  in Sudan into ISIS, as an example of the new strategy used by the organisation.

Many of the students are children of reputable doctors in the UK.

The minister  appealed to Nigerians, especially those who have children in foreign academic institutions, to pay more attention to their activities.
