Scores of millennium farmers under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ondo state have appealed to the state government to pay their salaries between 2012 and 2014.
The farmers who staged a peaceful protest to the governor’s office in Akure, said they have been neglected by the government.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the farmers want the government to urgently address their demands.
The leader of the aggrieved farmers, Wahab Aminu, said most of their colleagues are suffering.
