Experts warn against unethical use of Artificial Intelligence

In a bid to harness the vast potential of the younger generation, experts have called on young individuals to tap into the innovative power of AI to drive societal progress and tackle pressing global challenges.

This formed the basis of discussion at capacity building workshop held recently in Ibadan.

Artificial Intelligence is changing numerous aspects of our lives, and its importance cannot be overstated with the way it enhances productivity, leading to increased efficiency and accuracy.

The technology drives innovation in various fields, such as healthcare, finance, and transportation, leading to breakthroughs and improvements.

A gathering of capacity building workshop for young individuals who are passionate about harnessing the potential of Artificial intelligence to keep up with global technological demands.

About 1000 young individuals were beneficiaries of this initiative , but experts emphasised the need for responsible and ethical use of this transformative innovation and avoid being over dependent on it, to sustain self reliance and critical thinking.

Organisers hope to see more institutions established and licensed to teach Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria, promoting wider adoption and skill development.
