Private sector elites have been advised to come into politics to help sanitize the system rather than complain all the time.
Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai made the call in Lagos during a reception in his honour by a group of private sector players.
Correspondent Theophilus Elamah reports that award ceremony was a gathering of the crem d la crem of the society who are big players in the private sector. They played host to the governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, who took out time to speak on several issues affecting the society.
Just a few of those actively involved in politics have pedigree of achievement before involvement in the game. Governor El-Rufai believes that until the trend is reversed, the country may not make desired progress.
Some members of the club also bared their minds on the political situation of the country.
As the meeting comes to a close, it is likely the governor has been able to convince those present here on the need to pay more attention to politics.
