Lawyer and counsel to one of the organisers of the protest Ebul-olu Adegboruwa has asked that the meeting requested by the Inspector General of Police be done virtually to allow all key players attend.
You would recall that the inspector general of police on Monday sent an invitation to Mr Adegboruwa representing the Take it back movement to discuss modalities of the protest and to provide adequate security for the participants.
The senior lawyer acknowledged the commitment of the inspector general of police to the laws which allows citizens to gather peacefully.
He also requested that the IGP provides contact details of the DIGs, AIGs and other officers assigned to cover the protests.
