No fewer than 2000 passengers benefitted from the free train service offered by the Osun state government for Easter celebrations. At every festive period of every year, people take the free train ride from Lagos to Osun to celebrate and take another free ride back. This is the 31st since Rauf Aregbesola became the Osun State governor.
The train took off from Lagos on Friday and is expected to return people back to Lagos on Monday.
The travellers were received in Osogbo by the coordinating director in the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives and Investment, Abimbola Osho.
