The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Kassim Afegbua, spokesman of former military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.
Afegbua and his lawyer confirmed this, saying the invitation came via a telephone call from the secret police , asking him to be at its headquarters on Thursday.
He had, earlier on Wednesday, visited the police headquarters in Abuja, in the company of his wife and lawyer.
The police said there was a mix-up somewhere, to have warranted him being declared wanted, and they apologised.
