The group says it is in its final planning stage to start the training of teachers, students, school nurses and parents on infection prevention and control. Just last month there was an outbreak of cholera in Queens college in Lagos resulting in the death of several students.
Some states in Northern Nigeria are also currently grappling with the outbreak of meningitis that has claimed more than four hundred lives. The London professional training centre believes casualties will be reduced, if there is better sensitization.
