He expressed fear that at the rate at which, this illicit trade in going, donkey may soon go extinct.

The Customs handed over the animal skin to the Agricultural product Quarantine Agency for O ward destruction.

The Customs Service had recently renewed its offensive against the Activities of snmugglers across the Country and has been recording successes in curbing their activities.

The renewed offensive according to Climate and Conservation activists is necessary especially in preventing some really endangered sopecies like Pangoling from becoming history.

The offensive is also aimed at ensuring the nation does not continue to lose revenue from smuggling activities which denies Nigeria of legitimate duties.
