A bus collided within an expressway tunnel in Northern China on Wednesday, leaving 14 passengers dead and 37 injured, according to official media.
The investigation stated that the bus, carrying 51 passengers, crashed against the inner wall of the tunnel.
The number of fatalities and injuries was verified by state news agency Xinhua.
The cause of the incident is now under investigation, Xinhua added.

Road accidents are common in China due to a lack of strict safety controls.
Last February, 16 people were killed and hundreds injured in a pile-up in central Hunan province.
A month prior, 19 people perished and 20 were injured in a traffic accident in eastern Jiangxi province.
