A 34 year old man from Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna state has been tested positive to the Lassa Fever virus.
The state commissioner for health, Dr. Amina Baloni said he is being monitored closely.
This brings the number of confirmed cases to two in Kaduna State. The first victim died last Sunday and has since been buried.
The state has recorded twenty three cases so far, with fifteen test results coming out negative.
