Borno govt donates N60m to Victims of Maiduguri GSM Market fire

Borno State government has given sixty million naira as compensation  to victims of last Thursday’s fire outbreak at the Maiduguri GSM market.

Morethann five hundred traders were affected by the fire, which gutted  47 shops.

Kolomi Dala reports that some victims of last Thursday’s fire outbreak at the famous GSM market in the Maiduguri city centre.

A total of sixty million naira is to be shared amongst the victims. The amount received per person is dependent on the value of losses incurred.

Some of the beneficiaries showed appreciation to government, and are expectant this financing support will help them restart their businesses.
