At least 10 persons are now feared dead following a pipeline explosion in Rivers State.
The incident occured today in Kom-Kom community, of Oyigbo Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the incident but spokesman of the command Nnamdi Omoni says the police is unable to asertain the actual number or casualties.
Omoni also said the incident occurred during a routine inspection and maintenance of the pipeline by staff of Shell Petrol Development Company, SPDC.
