Analysts want Nigeria to take World Bank warning resiously

Image result for World BANKEconomic Watchers have advised Nigerian government to  take seriously, the world bank report which says Nigeria needs stronger economic growth for poverty reduction and better living conditions for its people. Challenges faced by low income earners like this man across Nigeria, explains why the world bank’s Global economic prospect report for twenty nineteen wants the country to engage in significant structural reforms to reduce poverty and give the citizen better lives.

It believed this could help improve the business climate thereby attracting more investment.

The world bank projects a two point one percent growth for Nigeria this year and two point two percent in two thousand and twenty.
This forecast is zero point nine percent lower than the twenty nineteen budget’s assumptions.

The Nigerian government remains hopeful of a three percent growth this year following a two point zero one percent growth in the first quarter of twenty nineteen.

It will be the country’s highest first quarter growth since twenty fifteen.
