At least seven more passengers abducted by suspected terrorists from the Kaduna-bound train in March have regained their freedom.
This comes one hundred and three days after the attack on AK9 train where nine persons were killed and 63 other passengers kidnapped.
The hostages were freed on Saturday night and Media Consultant to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Tukur Mamu, is said to have facilitated the process.
The latest developments brings the total numbers of freed passengers to twenty, while at least forty three others still languish in captivity.
Among those freed is the son of Ango Abdullahi, the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, the Pakistan national who was also among those kidnapped and five others.
