A supreme court sitting in Abuja has granted an application made by the governorship flag-bearer of the All Progressive Grand Alliance
(APGA), Alex Otti, to be joined in the suit challenging the election of Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
The court said the move is to grant the appellant his constitutional right to fair hearing.
Counsel to Alex Otti expressed satisfaction at the ruling which he describes as a victory for the rule of law.
