Eleven Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters have surrendered to troops of Operation HADIN KAI in Borno State, as soldiers also killed eight terrorists and arrested two logistics suppliers.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force North-East, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba.
The statement said the fighters surrendered with their AK-47 rifles and ammunition following sustained military operations under Operation DESERT SANITY Five along the Azir–Wajiroko axis.

It added that clearance operations in the Bulaagalda cluster, as well as the Yale and Bula Gaida areas, led to the destruction of terrorist camps and logistics facilities, with the recovery of weapons and ammunition.
