For most of last week the question on virtually every lip in South Africa is will Grace Mugabe have her day in court to defend charges of assault.
But it seems the wife of the Zimbabwean leader, will not be answering those charges anytime soon.
Mrs Mugabe returned home earlier this Sunday, according to Zimbabwean media
State broadcaster ZBC reported that Grace arrived in company of President Mugabe aboard an Air Zimbabwe flight.
She had intended to appear at a summit on Saturday but failed to show. She also applied for diplomatic immunity but it was unclear if this was granted.
Mrs Mugabe had been accused of hitting a 20-year-old woman over the head with an extension cord.
