ZIFA and COSAFA president Philip Chiyangwa has attacked CAF executive committee members, calling them cowards as they fear incumbent president Issa Hayatou.
The Zimbabwean FA boss accused the CAF executive committee members of failing to stand up to the organisation’s boss Hayatou.
Hayatou is set to face off against Madagascar Football Association president Ahmad Ahmad and Chiyangwa suggests it’s time for the 71-year-old Cameroonian to go into retirement.
The outspoken leader is Ahmad’s campaign manager, and says CAF needed fresh leadership.
