Zamfara state Governor Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, has directed all troops posted to the state to permanently relocate to villages where there are security challenges.
He said the state government will establish camps for the security personnel in villages and in the strong holds where bandits and criminals have been terrorising innocent people across the state.

According to him, the action became necessary because it has been observed that, bandits always feel free to carryout their activities because there is no security presence close by assault.
He also assured of his administration’s commitment in assisting all the security apparatus towards bringing lasting peace in the state.
