The 2019 International Sustainable Development Goals Youth Day has been marked in Ekiti State to take ownership of the SDGs for community impact.
The commemoration featured an awareness road show, as the youths marched from the state secretariat in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, to the Government House.
During plenary sessions, experts delivered papers on the 17 SDGs goals.
Addressing the youth, Governor Kayode Fayemi represented by his Chief of Staff, assured them that they would not be sidelined in the state’s development plans.
