The Nigeria Labour Congress has held a road walk around Abuja city centre ahead of this year’s International Workers Day on May the 1st.
The walk which is led by NLC Acting President, Najeem Yasin, aims to sensitise Nigerians.
Mr. Yasin said the walk is also to create awareness for the forthcoming centenary celebration of the International Labour Organisation.
The workers displayed many banners, among which is written “Shared Prosperity: Panacea for World Peace and Development”.
